Passage: Daily Journal (“Passage”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Your first name (used to personalize your experience)
• Your life goal (used to personalize AI responses)
• Your belief system selection (used to personalize language and tone)
• Your journal entries (stored locally on your device)

Information collected automatically:

• Subscription status through RevenueCat (our payment processor)
• Anonymous usage data through Apple’s standard frameworks

How We Use Your Information

• To personalize your daily affirmations, reflections, and mantras
• To track your voyage progress and milestones
• To process and manage your subscription
• To send you daily reminder notifications (only if you enable them)

AI Features

Passage Premium uses the Claude API (Anthropic) to generate personalized affirmations, reflections, reframes, and mantras. Your journal entries and profile information are sent to Anthropic’s API solely to generate your personalized responses. Anthropic’s privacy policy applies to this processing and can be found at anthropic.com/privacy.

Data Storage

Your journal entries, name, goal, and belief system are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not store your personal journal data on our servers. If you delete the app, your data will be deleted.

Subscriptions

Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat and Apple. We do not store your payment information. RevenueCat’s privacy policy can be found at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Push Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not use push notification servers.

Children’s Privacy

Passage is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above.
